From anomaly to measured grade

RC drilling & sampling

We run reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaigns and trench networks that measure the true extent and grade of primary and secondary mineralisation.

Methodology

  1. 1

Hole and trench layout based on radiometric and structural targets.

  2. 2

Vertical and inclined RC drilling, with continuous drilling supervision and geological logging.

  3. 3

Trench excavation and regular channel sampling along mineralised walls.

  4. 4

Sample preparation, labelling and preservation in chip trays.

Deliverables

  • Drill logs and trench sheets

  • Traceable sample database

  • Collar plans and certified coordinates

  • Summary of mineralised intersections

Field case

At Tiferchai, inclined RC drilling and channel sampling returned an intersection of 431 ppm U3O8 over 13 metres depth, from surface.
